I hold a PhD from the International Relations department at the London School of Economics and Political Science. My research explores questions of state and institution building in de facto states, Russian foreign policy, the provision of education services in areas of limited statehood and unrecognised states, as well as Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Concurrently, I teach statistics, research design and Foreign Policy Analysis to undergraduate students at the LSE and City University of London. I also work as a research consultant on large-scale research projects on entrepreneurship.
I have published reports on entrepreneurship in Central and Eastern Europe as well as blog articles on Russia's relations with South Ossetia and Icelandic party politics. I completed a MRes in East European Studies at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London and a BA in European Studies at Maastricht University. |
